Detroit Institute of Arts, Star Wars and Shake Shack
Our seester-in-law had great idea to enjoy a summer day in the D, starting out with a visit of the Star Wars exhibit at the Detroit Institute of Arts Museum.
The Star Wars exhibit is open at the DIA now through Sept 30th and it is worth bringing your little (or grown) fan down to geek out over the costume displays.
Then we headed to Shake Shack- a family favorite
Campus Martius
We ended the day at the "beach". The kids loved the sand set out at Campus Martius, and sitting out with our feet in the sand was such a pleasant way to end a day
