Carnivale Chicago

If you want an all five senses dining experience- Carnivale is the place to go. Its delicious, colorful, bright, and loud (to be honest). They have dancers, musicians and performers that are as attention-getting as their food.

Appetizers

Braised brisket, sweet plantains, malanga, aji amarillo aioli, queso fresco

Entrees

PERUVIAN CHICKEN
Marinated Amish chicken, roasted fingerling potatoes, huancaina
(Confession, I didn't take a pic of this. Please accept this cartoon chicken as a replacement)

ARRACHERA
Wood-grilled skirt steak, conger, bacon soffits, chimichurri
(Confession 2; I took a pic of this mid-meal, and it does not look appealing. Please accept this cartoon cow as a replacement)

CARNIVALE ICE CREAM CAKE
Mango, red currant and pistachio ice creams

 CUBAN CIGAR
Roasted hazelnut mousse, hazelnut sponge cake, oreo crumble, Zaya rum ice cream
(OK, maybe I shouldn't even show you this one, because its not on the menu anymore, but it was such a fun presentation. If it ever comes back, get it)

JAVI'S TRES LECHES
Milk soaked banana cake, peanut butter fondant, chocolate ganache
